Dark Days picks up right where The Childe left off.Cat Colvin a average teenager with average friends(so it would seem,but Cat knows now she is adopted,but deep down inside she knows there is more.As with the first book Carol and Adam had me hooked,line and sinker!Even tho this book also has vampires and wiccans,they are not your typical ones,trust me!Carol and Adam lead you thru a journey and life of not your average teenager,with twists and turns you'll want to turn the page quicker!The characters are colorful and so well written you'll believe you're there along with them.Family ,friendship,secrets and betrayal, it has it all!I would highly recommend this book to all ages and am sittin' on pins n needles waitin' for book 3.Kudos Carol n Adam,hats off to ya,sugars.Product details

This is a great series thus far because it gives you an all around experience. You are immersed into the characters and it truly gives you an old but new generation feel which is kudos to the mother & son duo. I highly recommend.
I really enjoyed this book, it kept you intervene of your seat. Looking forward to reading the next book. I know it will also be exciting!
I thoroughly enjoyed reading both books in the Childe series! I downloaded both on my Fire. There were a few grammar/editing errors but not enough to bother me. I enjoy sharing stories like these with my teenager daughter. Huge cliff hanger at the end of Dark Days has left me anxiously awaiting the next book!!! If you love this genre check out "Rising The Saga of the Setti" by Stephanie Judice another great read!!
I purchased this kindle book after reading a free download of The Childe. I had book 1 several months before I actually read it, but I couldn't wait to see what came next so I bought book 2. The story is so thrilling! It's action packed and keeps you so involved in the story. I'm so excited for the next book in the series. I found a few mistakes same as with The Childe, some spelling & grammar errors. One biggie for me was the misspelling of a character name. But it only happened once and it didn't really bother me that much. I think a little closer editing would fix any of these errors and I would give both books 5 stars. I don't really have anything bad to say about the books. Even the errors for me were minor. EXCITED FOR WICKED DARLINGS hopefully out this Winter! If you like any kind of fantasy books, you'll love this series.
This book was AWESOME i had downloaded the first book just because it was free and imediatly I was hooked to it and had to read the second in the series right away which was even better than the first book and I am dying to find out what happens in the third wishing the author would go ahead and publish it so I can go ahead and get to reading it. It is a teen book but VERY WELL written with a great story line and it is one of those books that has not been overdone like some others have been. All though it is still about vampires it is something that is new and fresh and keeps you on the edge of your seat.
Wow! This story just keeps getting better and better! There's never a dull moment as Cat realized she's only begun to uncover the secrets surrounding her. Some of the surprises I kinda saw coming, while others caught me completely off guard! Cat is starting to get a better grasp on who she is & now it's time to decide who she can really trust with the truth. The loyalty from some of her friends is actually pretty amazing! Things really started getting shook up in the book, though, so I will be very impatiently waiting to find out what happens next!
I first read C.A. Kunz's book The Childe in May and I loved it. I loved the characters, the feel and the flow of the story. Dark Days takes up right where The Childe left off and it more than delivers. The characters are more enchanting than ever before and the story flow is so clean and crisp it draws you completely in. I liked everything about this book and cannot wait to get my hands on book 3. Kudos to C.A Kunz for giving me a world I absolutely adore.
